Hello!
I have an Aberhottub 609SL.
My 5 year old laing pump has now decided to give up on me.
I have looked around for a new. Best price is about 250 usd, and I see that it is possoble to get Waterway Tiny Might for 115,- usd.
Is it possible for me to change to Waterway.(my heater is also from Laing)
I post a pic of
my pump.

Technically, you can replace your circulation pump with ANY brand you want to, so long as the voltage and GPH (gallons per hour) rating is the same. It's all up to you how much plumbing you want to do to make it fit. I see you will need to put a "tee" fitting in so you can reinstall the pressure switch, as I don't believe the Tiny Mite has that fitting. If you don't have the GPH rating on your pump, you may be able to go to the manufacturer's website and get that information.
Pretty sick isn't it? You will pay more for a tiny circulation pump that offers no therapy what so ever, compared to a standard jet pump! (but they are cute sittin' along side "big daddy" 4HP pumps)

Tanks for your reply.
I found out:
Laing SM-1252-ST-26 : 720 GPH
Waterway The Tiny Might : 1180 GPH
Voltage is the same, but Laing is 0,6 amp, and waterway is 0,8 amp.
So it can bee used?

Me, I would try it. Not much of a difference and the output is more.

I bought a new laing pump, but got prob.
After connetcting the new pump i put in the fuses again, but the new pump would not start??
I took out the pump, and tested it in my kitchen sink, evrything was ok with the pump.
I think it might be the pressure switch that is causing the prob.
Do i need the pressure switch? Can i just bypass it?

My apologies, I assumed when you were sure your pump was bad, you checked your pressure switch already. If it is a pressure switch, you can bypass it to see if that is the problem, simply by touching the two wires together that plug into it. I would not leave it this way though since if your pump does actually fail, your heater could go into overtime with no flow and burn out. If you bypass the switch and everything works good, you can try to adjust it by turning the black knurled knob counter-clockwise to adjust the pressure sensitivity. If that doesn't work, then replacement is necessary. Let us know how it turns out.

I bypassed the pressureswitch on the pump, but nothing happen. Then i tried to bypass the pressure switch on my main board. YES! Then it started!!
After some research i found out that this is the start switch for the circ.pump, and is activated by pressing a button inside the tub. A small air hose i connected bethween the button and the pressure switch on the main board. Then I tried to connect the pressure switch back again, and when i then pushed the button(had to "pump" it 3 times) the circ pump started.
I looks OK! But i am missing the airbubbles that used to come with the flow in the tub???
But the temp. is raising, and evrything else looks OK.
One good thing about the new laing pump is that it does not make any sounds or viberation. Great!
I put in a pic of the switch i was talkong about.
I dont think there should be any prob. if i choose to bypassed the pressureswitch on the circ.pump. The heater has overheat sensor, and when the heater dont has enough flow and start to get to hot it shut down the heater.
