We recently purchased a house with existing hot tub, an Emerald Space Saver II - today, the pump started making this tick sound when you turn on the jets - the circulation and heat and blower are all working fine - in reading the forum it might be an airlock, but I don't know how to know that for sure or how you fix an airlock - any help?

I'm about as new as you but I'd try opening the drain for a few moments just in case it needs to be bled. Couldn't hurt!

Is the tick constant? Just at the beginning? during usage? Is the pump actually stopping or reducing in power during this "tick"?
