First time hot tub owner and I bought it used off a friend for 200$. Got it fill and just about to get to temperature and figured out my pump was leaking. Very badly. The pump that was in it is a max e glass 1 hp pump and motor. I am wanting to replace both but not sure what to do not knowing what is going be next to go wrong. When purchased unit was working and water warm however when lifting the cover noticed then pump was leaking but thought I could fix it. Just real nervous and lost on what to do. Any words of advice would be appreciated. Not sure what year but will tell you that I dont even have digital read outs just push buttons for pump, and light.

If it's just a leak, we can walk you through repairing it. If you can post a pic of where it is leaking from that will be a good start. At most this will require replacing the pump seal which is a moderate but very doable job.

Thank you very much for the reply as well as walking through the repair. Put a new max e glass pump and motor and the hot tub is back running. Even a lot quieter. Thanks again.
