Hi -after having our motor rebuilt with new bearing sand seals - I've had the pump go and break. I have it taken apart on my bench. One of the "rotors" has cracked and spat a few pieces out which jammed the pump (the motor overload did it's job). I cleaned the broken area up but now have a 3cm by 3cm pie shaped hole on one of the rotors.

Should I close it back up and run it and see how much water it still pushes? Or bite the bullett and try and find a replacement pump? This may be difficult as it's a JAcuzzi Karam tub that is probably 20 years old and has no identification of what gpm the pump is (even in the manual).

Advice?

Go ahead and get a new pump. You won't find parts for this.

Best of luck.
