I have an Aqua-Flo, Flo Master HP pump. Model # 02115000. It is at least 5 years old, and recently began squealing. It squeals both when the heater or jets are activated and is quite loud. Is it time for a new pump? Want to be sure before I drop $300. Thanks!

Usually a squealing noise indicates that the bearings in the motor are going bad and therefore it's only a short matter of time before you motor completely seizes and you have no choice but to replace the pump.
