i bought a house that has a dakota spa that was not running. it looks as if the person before started to work on it but never finished because there are parts missing; no primary pump, and no blower. here is my question what pump would fit on the back side of the heater (HQ-2000E) this is a 240 volt set up with 1.5" pipeing. also, what blower to use, and where are these normally located. any help is greatly appreciated.

thanks

If the pump fits, use it! LOL That is pretty serious, but you will need to know what hp pump to get next. Count your jets, and devide by 4. That should get you in the ballpark. Since you have 1 1/2" plumbing, add .5 hp. So if you have 6 jets, you will go with the 1.5hp pump, then add the .5 for the plumbing size and you have a 2hp need. Are you sure your setup uses a blower? Do you have a 2" line comming from the tub that doesn't have a home? if so, that would be the blower, and where the line ends, is likely where the blower sat.
