I have a spa with Brett Aqualine EM-203T insides. Here's the problem. I am getting heat, but the heated water doesn't get to the tub unless the filteration is in process. The heater also gives a buzzing noise when it's operating. I'm wondering if there's a separate pump for the heater. I read the section on checking the contactors, but that seems a bit complicated for me. Is there a simple replacement part that I can look into?

On the front of the pack you'll have two separate timers. The one on the left is your filtration timer, and the one on the right is the heater timer. Below the heater timer, there should be a switch that that's labeled 'Timer Control' - 'Thermostat Control'.

Be sure that switch is in the 'Thermostat Control' position for it to work.

About the buzz? Well that's nothing more than your heater contactor making the usual 60 HZ racket. If your front panel was off, it's located in the upper right corner in the back of the box. But even if you replaced it, a new one just might start making the racket also. It's just a thing with large contactors. It usually happens when a bit of rust gets in the pull down (armature) thing to make the contacts come together.

One thing is for sure though about that contactor. It is a tough job to replace because of it's position and the way the heavy wiring is hooked up to it. There's not much room to work with.

That's great about the buzz. Doesn't sound too serious. However, the spa used to circulate water when the heat was on. Now it does not. I have to have the filtration system going for the water to be circulated when the heat is on. The switch is in the 'Thermistat Control' position.
I just went out an checked it (not a fun task in Michigan this time of year) and when I set the filtration switch to continuous the pump activates and water starts to circulate.

The spa used to circulate water on it's own when being heated, now it does not.

There's a small control relay in the box that is responsible for turning on the pump low speed when the call for heat is given by the thermostat. The relay should look something like this: (below is the diagram).
