hi all-

just moved into a new home, came with a "blue pacific" above ground 7 person spa. it uses a hurricane controller.

I can't get the jets to work at all- so far I've been able to get the pump to run on both speeds, but we never get a trickle out of any jets (except for the large circulation outlet).

what am I missing? does a valve open allowing water to the jets? I'm stumped!!

thanks for any information...

Large Circulation Jet you say?

I don't know the equipment configuration of your spa, however, if you close that large circulation jet you speak of, the rest of your jets should work. This large jet is called a "Whirlpool" jet.

Grab the outer ring of the whirlpool jet, turn it clockwise to close it down. The rest of the jets should work. Either that or there may be another valve on the top of the spa like older Leisure Bay and Cal Spas used a lot, that controls whether the one whirlpool or chain of normal jets gets all the power. I'm assuming for the moment that yours does not have the latter.

Lemme know if this helps.
