I just purchased a older {1994} qca hot tub that is a three person model. I was told the motor was dead and needed to be replaced. Got the spa tech guy over to replace the motor and hook up the electrical work to my house. It's a 230 volt hookup. He got everything done and turned it on and the jets worked on low speed. great. He then noticed the blower wasn't hooked up, so connected this. It kept turning the circuit breakers off. So he disconnected. Then we turned on the jets and the filter wasn't properly on and water spilled out all over the place. Got that together and turned the jets back on and they worked great! Yeah!....however. I noticed it was leaking at the drain. He tightend this up and it broke. Water was now coming out everywhere. I got a hose to redirect to the tub until we could get a new fitting for this. He went to purchase one and installed it. We turned on the jets again and now they don't work at all. Only the low ones do. This is where he said the mother board was fried and left me. I tried to see on my own if there was a vent for an air lock problem but nothing is there. I vented the filter but again they aren't working.
Could this really be the problem? I would truly appreciate any help

Well an update to this problem for all of you out there. It was the side controls that caused the jets not to work on high speed. I found these on the internet for $1000.00 less than quoted by my spa guy. He said it was the control board. Also the blower motor had the wires crossed. which caused the circuit to trip. I found this out after taking this apart myself and checking the lines. When it was hooked up to my home these lines got rearranged. So now everything works and I came out with more money in my pocket and more knowledge than ever on how my spa works. You can offically call me a spa babe now.
