I have a Thermo Spas Manhattan that I bought new in 1992.

After some neglect I had to rebuild the heater. Got everything back together and found that the blower doesn't work. I have a new blower motor coming tomorrow. In the meantime I have been running the tub without the blower.

I found that there is a water leak coming from the air intake control valve for the jets. There is an "air-assist" fitting that slips over the air control valve and apparently injects air from the blower. It looks like the o-rings that seal this fitting are ruined. It also looks like there is no way to put on new o-rings since everything is glued together. I bought a new air control valve, but it is shorter than the original and I won't be able to attach the air assist if I use it.

I read in another post here that air assist isn't really needed with modern jets but since my tub had it to begin with I wonder if my jets should have it?

If I do want to use the air assist can anyone tell me where I can buy the air control valve for it?

Thanks
Bob
