We recently reinstalled an older spa and the blower is working; however not all of the jets will work at the same time. The six jets on the sides will all work but the holes on the bottom and on the seat won't work. If we plug the jets on the side then the holes on the seat and bottom work. Is there something that we are missing? Is the blower broken?

I apologize for the late reply. I have been away from the forum for a while. What I have found with older tubs in your situation is calcium buildup in the cavity that allows the air to flow into the seats, etc. About the only remedy is to make the tub very caustic and dissolve the calcium in the cavities from their calcium buildup. Be advised, however, in doing so you may corrode your heating element, your pump seals, etc. What I have done in the past is add 2 gallons of muratic acid to the water, making it VERY caustic, and about once an hour for 5 minutes at a time, for the period of a day, cycle the blower on then off. After the day, I have draind the tub and refilled, cycle the blower (to remove any acidic water from the cavities), and drained and refilled the tub again. So far I haven't experianced any negative side-effects, and have been able to restore the airflow to the air jets througout the tub. You might want to give this a try, but remember, it is at your own risk!
