Post subject: Need help in fixing a leak in the blower system

I have a Caldera Sierran Tub with a leak in the blower system. The blower intake (a 5" tubular black rubber thing coming straight out from the wall of the pump housing area) is filled with water. I undertand there is a check valve in this circuit and I suspect it is the culprit. I want to fix it but don't know how to remove the parts to find it. Any suggestions?
