Greetings,

I have a 2 week old Hydrospa Millenium spa running on 240v/50amp with a Balboa HS 200 pack. I have a Max Air Blower 1.0 hp,120v,5 amp and am only gettings bubbles from some of the air injectors.

I thought I may have a defective blower as it will not always stay on for its full 15 minute cycle, then will not restart for a few hours. Hydrospa is sending me another blower but I was wondering if I have clogged up injectors? Here is a link to what it looks like.

http://www.partypools.com/manual-new/mark-III/mark-III-page-26.htm.

The #2 are the injectors & they only seem to work on seats 2 & 3, not 1 & 4. How can I test if thet are "clogged up" bearing in mind this is a new spa? Is there a way to "blow out" the lines?

Thanks

Are seats 2 and 3 physically higher than 1 and 4? I think you are on the right track suspecting the blower, as it may be defective and not have enough power to push the water out of the air jets. A weak blower will often blow through the higher level jets and not the lower, due to the higher water pressure as you go deeper in the tub. A defective check valve could cause this problem too.

Actually, seat 2 is the lowest, seats 1,3 & 4 are about the same height. Only on seat 3 are the injectors really blowing. I got a new blower from Hydrospa & a new check valve (1/4 lb spring) but its still the same.

So this leads me to 1 of 2 conclusions. Either the other seat's injectors or lines are somehow clogged OR the 1 hp is too weak for the spa -- a design flaw. Gonna shake someone's tree at Hydrospa & see what they say.
