Greetings,
I have read many responses from you folks about the flashing "ON" light and inoperative system. I have the same problem. After reading about ohm values for the thermistors and the heater I decided to do some testing of my own. the heater read 10.5 ohms. figured that was good. The Thermistors read 16K + and 36K + ohms. I recalled someone listing the specs but wasn't sure. A thermistors resistance value goes down as the temperature of it goes up. I got out the hair dryer, hooked up the ohm meter and watched for changes. The resistance did go down. I re tripped the breaker and the ON light stayed on steady and I pushed the Jet 1 button and it fired right up. Either I got lucky or I tricked the system or got the out of spec thermistors down in the correct range to make the tub operate. Now I have to wonder if the thermistors are getting lazy/defective and will they act up when it is freezing outside and I have to winterize the system in 10 degree temps. Anyone have the real spec. for the thermistors. I hope this helps you in your quest for getting that darn light on steady and the tub working.
