Our Laing circulation pump is running low pressure since we have cleaned the filters. We forgot to unplug the spa before taking out the filters. Is there anything we could try to fix ourselves before we think of replacing the pump ? (model Laing SM-1212NHW-19 1/15HP ?
Thanks in advance

I don't want to sound silly, however, are you certain that your pump is outputting a low pressure? Those Laing pumps are just small circulation pumps and really don't have much pressure at all, usually about 5 PSI max. If you are positive that there isn't much pressure, I would start looking for obstructions in the line going both to and from the pump, the heater, etc. and also look for a kinked hose. If your tub is still heating normally, then I would say your pump is working just fine. If you lost your pressure, your pressure switch would prevent your heat from comming on.
