Recently I noticed that my circulation is pumping 24/7. I have taken the cover off of the side but cant find any loose wires or anything. I have a viking spa with Balboa pump and digital topside controls. Somone please help me before my electric bill gets out of hand.

Thanks In Advance,
Nick

Is the spa maintaining temperature? or is perhaps the temperature going down? The result could be that there is a problem with your heater and the pump is trying to run bring the temperature back up to where you have it set for...otherwise it would have to be something wrong with the relays on PCB causing the pump to never shut off.

R U positive it's not supposed to be running all the time? My Leisure Bay Spa has a circ pump that never shuts off. It draws very little amperage and is then always filtering the water and pushing water thru the heater for when it kicks on. From my experience, if it is a "circulation pump", it may be designed to run all the time. But there are so many different mfg of spas out there it's hard to say.

Most likely, you know your spa and it is supposed to be shutting off. If this is the case then I'd have to agree with the last post. There must be something telling it to keep running. If you have it running on a timer it could be just a bad timer too.
