I just bought a 2000 vitaspa hercules. It had never been opened when we bought it,we got it filled and wired and now we can't get it to start. It had the flo message when we first tried to start it up but we got the air lock out and now the display says the temp. The lights work and the air jets and the heater light work but nothing when you press jets1 or jets2.The pump is getting power and it will turn if you turn it manually, all we get is a clicking sound when you press the jet button. Can anyone tell me what they think it could be? Is it a bad pump or relay or something else? Thanks

there are a few things to consider. First I would check to see if the motor is plugged into the control box all the way. Could have come loose during transport. Could also be a loose wire inside the control box for the same reason, although unlikely. Perhaps your spa isn't getting all the power it needs (i.e. only one side of the 240 volt supply is working, allowing the controls to function, but not the pump). One of the last things I would consider is the motor itself, if it is indeed new, although it could be possibly defective.

We have checked all the wiring and everything seems to be just fine.We wired the pump and plugged it into an outlet and it started right up so we know it works. We are just getting that clicking sound when we press the jets 1 jets 2 buttons.Could it be a bad relay switch?

After re-reading your first post, I have to ask, is the motor running? If not it's not getting power. It could be a relay, but that is what you hear clicking. Check for an onboard fuse. Also check to see if your motor is humming or just dead silent.

Did you solve your problem? I have the same problem on an older Vita Spa Essence. Jets 1 and 2 click but the motors dont run.
