I now have three Silenflo 5000 that do not pump water. The motor is working, but the impeller is damaged, broken or not spinning. Is their somewhere you can purchase just the impeller or pump without having to buy the entire assembly at over $100 a pop?

Thank you for your input.

I don't know where you would get something like that. The Silent Flow works on a magnetic field so you need to make sure the motor end surface is not compromised at all.

================
I was faced with the same problem.
This was my 2nd silent flow 5000 to go bad in 5 years.
I took it apart and found the impeller rotor was banged up very badly causing it to rattle like a jackass in a tin barn.
I found a replacement impeller assy on line for $75. but after researching I found a replacement pump for $135.00 that claimed to be more efficient, move more water and draw less current.
I opted for the new pump.
It is so tiny and light, it fits in the palm of my hand and seems to move twice the water of the old unit.
I can't recommend it because it has only been installed a week. Research and Caveat Em tor

Good Luck,.

The new little pump has been a good one. I think it's self priming and your right it does have a good flow.
