Post subject: What to check, no low speed pump?

I have a Beacomber Hot Tub.
230 V
Digital 1000 control unit.
magnetek pump.

The high speed jets work and the heater works but the low speed pump doesnt work. So after 15min the high speed automatically shuts down and then there is no flow. What should I check? Thanks

As a follow up I have determined it is a Balboa 2400ES System.
Here is the wiring diagram.
http://home.primus.ca/~g8r/balboa.jpg

Whats weird is that all relays seem to be putting out power but only 120v. Its supposed to be 240V.

I also failed to mention that there were some small ball bearings in the tub and small pieces of plastic. Also there was leaves and a chewed up label in the filter trap. Very weird.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

In case you haven't fixed this yet...

Be sure that you're measuring the pump voltage between the white and red / white and black terminals that go to the pump motor. The only way you could actually measure 120 is if you were checking between neutral coming into the unit and any other line that's connected to L1 or L2.

To get 240 you have to measure between L1 and L2. The pump motor on your unit - the white line, is connected to L1.

L2 will be hot on either the black or red line going to the pump.

If you're getting the right voltage to the motor, then your motor is defective.

To make sure I was checking it right I took the motor inside and used the wires going to the stove to check each speed seperately. The motor worked on both speeds. After putting the motor back I noticed if I pushed the relay the low speed would work. To bad I didnt try that first. Funny thing is the relay to my light looked in bad shape but worked. So I swapped those two relays and the pump now works fine. I ordered spares and when it gets warm again I will replace those two relays. So it was a dead relay. Thanks for responding tho.

Do you have the roatating jets? That is probably where the ball bearings and the plastic bits came from. I tried rebuilding one of those rotating jets, only to have it break apart and get a small amount of those ball bearings and such.
