Dreammaker Display and light flashing

I have a Dreammaker X 400 spa. Went out to turn it up and when I opened it the light in the water was flashing and so was the display. When I tried to turn it up it would go two degrees or so and then flash 56, then you would have to start from the current temp which was 95 again. I turned off the power and tried it again after a few attempts it started working again with no flashing. Any ideas what would cause this?? Thanks for any help

Sporadic power or a software glitch.
