I purchased a 1996 Dimension one hot tub, worked for 2 days, then circ pump quit. Jets work on low and high, replaced circ pump, worked for 1 evening, then quit, replaced pressure switch, nothing, noticed 3 flashing lights on control pad, not sure where to go from here, filter is new, valves are in open position. Control pad is not digital, just low, high, light and dial for heat settings and the little red light for the heat. lights flash 3 times when jets are on low or high, then stop flashing when jets are off. I do not have the manual, although the people I bought it from are 'looking' for it. Dimension one only has manuals online back to 1998. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Quote: worked for 1 evening, then quit,
The circ pump quit or it won't heat anymore? Did you adjust the pressure switch, it should ohm closed with pump running, infinite resistance with pump off.

Since I had posted the original posting, I have replaced the pc board, now the heat status light is solid, like it is heating, but the circ pump won't run. I have tried to bi-pass the pressure switch, still circ pump doesn't work. Have talked to 3 different techs, (1 of which had been here 3 times) have another coming tomorrow, the others are stumped as to why my heat status light is lit, acting like the spa is heating, but the circ pump is not working. I also checked the pump switch on the pc board, have tried it on both a and b. I will mention the ohm thing to the tech, I am just afraid of being taken by paying for something I don't know that I need. Already have $800 into it since mid May. Any other suggestions would be great. Thanks

The cic pump should be running, you said in you last post you replaced it, is it possible the pump burned up in 1 day. Was it replaced with the same voltage circ pump? Double check the wiring.

it was replaced with an identical pump, laing 65 w 115 v ( I think that is what it was.) after I replaced the pump, and the tech came back out, he was on the phone with dimension one tech, and it was decided that the pc board was bad, a black wire on the board was not sending power, not sure which one. Could that have 'fried' the new pump? it did run for only one evening then quit

You could test the circ pump by unplugging it from the board and running 115 volts to it. If it does not run, it is bad. as for:
Quote: a black wire on the board was not sending power
I would just verify all the wiring you can. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I wouldn't know where to begin to test the circ pump, I will have the tech do it tomorrow, thanks for your help. Wish me luck.

update.. It turned out to be the top control panel, apparently if the dial is not turned on a consistant basis, it will stick, and when we turned it the 1st time, it broke some wires, which caused the f14 spot on the pc board to not work. The pc board we replaced was fine, so will save it for the future, in case something does go wrong with it.
