I am really getting frusturated with this spa. I have replaced the pump, the circut board and now the heater and I am still getting these codes and one in particular, CLd, which no one seems to know what it means! Besides getting HLF, LF, dr, etc..

Hi explorer,

I think CL is a filter clean reminder every thirty days. I'm not sure about CLd. Your controller measures the amount of flow by comparing two sensors (thermistors) on either side of the heater chamber. This system eliminates the need for an intrusive flow switch paddle, or pressure switch. The PR cycle compares these values, and then the board "flashes" the heater element. If a sudden temperature rise occours, then it generates an error. High Limit, High Limit Flow, will display as it keeps on trying, then upon subsequent failure, DY or dry ( it holds the code, and gives up ). You may have a clogged return, or partially closed gate valve, or obstructed pump going on.

CLD can mean 'cold' ie the spa is at a temperature significantly below set temp. once heated this code disappears - simply a visual code to let you know the spa is far from ready to jump into!
