What year is yours? First thing to do is confirm that the small cirulction pump is pumping water, and the filters are clean.

It is a 2003 and yes the filters are clean that is the first thing I did, I used some cartridge cleaning solution that you soak the cartridges in overnight. I am going to remove the small pump and clean the impeller I assume is attached to the motor. I got a hold of the previous owner and he told me he did this a couple of times.

I don't mean to highjack this thread...

Recently had a leak in my Jetsetter (1999). The tub was out of commission for about 6 weeks. When I went to fire it back up it took much longer than normal to heat up and right before it got to the normal operating temp the red flashing light started to occur. I swapped out my filters with a clean set and reset the thing. All seemed to be fine for about a week and then the red light came back. So I swapped out the filters again with the ones I had just cleaned and reset. The problem now comes back in about an hour or two.

I took the hose and put it down the grey filter tube and let it run for a couple of minutes, ran the jet pump for a while, and the problem persists. I do have an ozone system and it's bubbling right along and it appears that I do have a pretty good flow. Not sure though if that flow rate is constant or not.

To me it sounds like I may have a high limit issue. Can anyone confirm my suspicion? And if so where can I find this limit device? I can probably figure it out but a picture would be very helpful!

Thanks in advance.

Rob :)

I have this same issue I have so far replaced the circulation pump that was not working. the new one started shutting down until i removed the supply filter (grey tube, first one). since i noted supply was slow. So i replaced all the filter with new ones. now the circulation pump stays on good flow but the power light still flashes, I believe the temp sensors are bad. I will ohm check them to verify.
so who sells them and how much are you paying?
