I just recived a 1995 Hot Spring Sovereign M1.
While looking for a leak which I have found I came across a wire that was cut!
The wire comes from a flow switch and where it is supposed to be contected at the control box is wire nutted, the origanlly owner states he did not do this.
This model had the opition of an Ozone injector which was installed(Which has died and needs to be replaced)
Was this wire cut from the factory due to the optional ozone injector? and should I reconnect it till I replace the the injector?
Thanks in advance for everyones help.

If the heater has been replaced, then it's normal. The tech may not have had the proper jumper to install in it's place, and simply made up a crude one himself with what he had....

The replacement heater comes with a built-in heater high limit, the original did not have the high limit. The flow switch design was somewhat flawed, as it didn't take much to (a slightly dirty filter) to open the flow switch, and the spa would stop heating.

If the heater has not been replaced, someone simply by-passed the flow switch because it was either broken, or because the flow was slightly lower than it should have been....If that's the case, I'd replace the flow switch with anew one, or at the very least test the current one to see if it's any good.

It has nothing to do with the ozone generator or ozone injector.

Hope that helps :)
