I will be attemtping to re-wire a repaired circuit board to my Artesian tub. It is a 2001 Quail Ridge model. Any suggestions or things I should watch out for during this process? Is this job better left to a professional spa tech or can a semi-novice like myself handle it?

Sometimes, a semi-novice like yourself can be better than any tech, on any platform (of course dependent upon location, location, location). Question seems more to me like if you were looking for some approval level of performance -

that is,
if you can do it, and remain in some competent standing if you screw it up?

Yes you can.

It not matters the make and model, but rather the outcome of the attempt. If you screw it up, then it's your fault. Just use caution, due care, and do your due diligence.
