Here's what you need to do. (Of course, with the power disconnected from the spa):

1. Trace and mark the grey wire that connects to the pressure switch.
2. Trace and mark the grey wire that connects to the temperature sensor (it's under the flap that's attached to the heater behind the spa pack).
3. Trace and mark the grey wire that connects to the hi-limit sensor, (same location as the temp sensor). This is usally a little smaller than the temp sensor, but it looks the same.
4. The last one will be your illumination wiring. Trace and mark that.

Then compare the newly marked wires with what the board diagram says where the plugs go to.

This is exactly what an $80 an hour spa tech will do.

This will require you to stick your head behind the pack and all of that, but it's the solution to your problem.

By the way, please take a full sized picture (as large of a resolution that your camera can handle) of that panel diagram, (on the back of the cover), and send it to me (image91 at spanet.net) File size is not restricted there.

Thanks and let me know if this helps or not. This really is a pretty simple procedure. If you're unsure of component ID (what you're looking for when you trace the wires), post back here again and I'll help you with that as well.

Is the pressure switch tied into the valve? or is that a flow switch?

I've put together something that should help you take care of this.

The three most crucial things in this are the pressure switch, the vacuum switch, and the circ pump relay (line A id'd in the pic). If these aren't right, then it'll never work.

The two that are really in question right now, are the circulation pump relay -- exactly where it plugs to, and the vacuum switch connector. The image you sent of the back of the panel was almost good enough to tell, but to get any better, I'd need a real good closeup. It's just not definitive enough. Otherwise I can make a call monday and get the exact spec on it.

Hope this helps.

Many, many thanks to you! With your help, I figured it out (the tracing it out was what got me on the path to success). Your advice helped me believe I could get it done and I did. I cannot thank you enough! It was just my wiring and the fuses were o.k. I really appreciate your help. Now if you need any help with plumbing questions (I have sold plumbing wholesale for 25 years) let me know via e-mail. More than happy to help.
Thanks again!
dr
