I have a '98 Cal Spa Newporter. The issue I have is a random shutoff in the pack. I've narrowed it down to only happening when jet pump two is running with an OH code. I've also seen an FL code. OH will reset by pushing the pump button. FL will only reset with a power cycle at the breaker.

If pump 1 and/or the recirc pump is running, it never errors out.

All three pumps and motors were new when I purchased this tub about two years ago. The issue has been perplexing me almost from day one. I watched the guy install the motors/pumps, so I know they came out of a new looking box.

This unit also randomly blows the fuse inside the control box.

Any idea what the problem could be, or what the codes mean? I find nothing in the documentation I've been able to find, and the Cal Spa dealer is no help either.

If additional information is needed, please let me know. I'd like to resolve this.

I have a 96 calspa 2000, and was getting the FL error. I put a new flow sensor on it and it was good to go. Also, before I did this, it would run then shut down. when it tried to come back on is when I got the "FL" error. Replaced the sensor and now its good to go!!
