Hiya. Here's the info. 1997 ish Cal Spas, 220volt, 2 pumps, Balboa C11GD, 2" x 15" stainless heater, heat adjust knob on topside control, which I would call push button. it's a single button, 1st push is lights, 2nd is low speed, 3rd is hi speed 4th is off. On my second one, replaced about a year ago.
Now, for the predicament. Spa worked great all winter. Every now and then, the heater would be off, but I used it so much I always caught it. As soo as I touched the controller, the heater would activate, and everything was groovy. now, I get nothing from the controller. Thought it was bad again, and killed my breaker, no sense heating it(heater still worked)until I got a new controller. For giggles I hit the breaker a few days later, and everything worked as advertised. Controller seemed fine. Drained and refilled, tub, everything still fine. Water hits 104, and now controller is dead again. It's been off for about a week, and I just tried it again, and with the water cool, everything works again.
Is there a high temp limiter switch gone goofy somewhere? Help! Thanks much....Den

Den, Is the topside giving you any error messages? Any flashing lights? Balboa topsides to try and let you know if there is an error through the topside.
