I have an Apollo spa that has a Gecko SSPA-1-P122-B2-02 spa pack and the top side control is intermittently displaying three flashing dots. When I reset it at the breaker, sometimes I can hear water heating in the heater tube with no water circulating and then the heater shuts down, after this the flashing dots come on the top side control. Also an led on the main board illuminates after this sequence (indicating hi-limit probe problems or so I was told). After following the trouble shooting guide provided by Gecko and listening to my local spa service center, I replaced the Hi-Limit probe. But my problem still exists with the new probe. I'm trying to determine if the new hi-limit probe (part number 9920-400446) I received is defective. Do you know what resistance I should get out of that probe over the temperature range of the probe? If the probe is not my problem what might be wrong with my spa?

Thanks for any help you can provide,
Mark

try pulling your filters. if that dont work replace pressure switch. the dot are caused by lack of flow over heater.

I'm pretty sure it is not a filter issue or obstruction in the line but I'll double check just in case. I kind of wondered if I would want to replace the pressure switch to see if that would help but the Gecko trouble shooting guide did not mention replacing the pressure switch for this problem. Is there any way to test the pressure switch to see if it is defective?

Thanks for your help and the ideas, I'll give them a try and let you know how I fare.
