Hi everyone, first post here, thanks in advance for any help. My spa (Diamante) has HydroQuip electronics. The jet pump is on an automatic 20 minute timer. I find this to be a bit annoying to say the least, is there any way to modify the length of this auto shut off?

I am not sure which model HydroQuip I have, it does look a lot like the CS9400 (attached image).

Cheers,

- Rick

That's a gecko system and no I don't think you can change the time outs on them.

Cool, thanks for the clarification. Talked to the electrical engineer brother last night...we may figure something out yet! Ya think a new top control panel might behave differently? If not, it's time to open up that circuit board and find me the timer chip...

There is no 'timer' chip that controls that timing funciton. All of that is contained in the software in the cpu's rom - or depending upon version of board, in the software contained in the separate rom chip.

and fwiw, that delay shut down is a safety feature to prevent people from killing themselves from over exposure to hot water in a spa, and also to prevent overheating of the water in case one forgets to shut it down.

The shut down is basically a 'wake up' feature for it's occupants.
