My spa suddenly shut off one day. It had been running intermittantly about 3 months prior. I found the connections for the pump on the circuit board melted. Had the pump tested and it was fine. Is this simply a board replacement or should I be looking for something else?

most likely you will be looking at both board replacement and something else. Usually when you have melted connections, it's caused by a loose connection, causing increased resistance and thus heat, causing the melting. Often, when the melting is at the circuit board, it will take out the board too. If the board does turn out to be fine, the connection to the motor is still going to be heat-damaged and should be replaced anyway, otherwise even with a good cleaning and new wire terminals, it will still be weak and will create the problem all over again.
