I just got a new Garden Leisure Camellia spa, I like it but.....
I need more heat than the 104 degrees it gives me now.

I got the Camellia to replace a 1985 model Hot Springs indoor/outdoor spa.
Now that spa would give you some serious heat, enough to hurt you!!

102 is fine for summer usage but in the winter months I'm used to 110 & would like to be able to get that out of my new tub.
The dealer told me it can be done but wouldn't tell me how due to liability issues (Lawyers, don't get me started!!)

Anyone out there that can hook me up with some heat??

Digital controls...

Unless there is a way to calibrate the elec t-stat on the PCB, you're out of luck. Most Spas will have 104 as the highest temp. displayed set point, I think due to UL restrictions. Some manufactures, like Hot springs, have to resort to wierd displays to set anything higher than 104, though no other brands sold in my area do... (Hot Springs can be set as high as 107, using, UE1, UE2, UE3, and UE4 as "code words," respectively, for 105, 106, 106.5, and 107)
Call your dealer, they should know...

As a last resort, it's possible to get hold of some out of calibration temp sensors, but I woulnd't reccomend that...

Actually it will display higher temps, when I was filling the tub I was using hot water & when directing it at the sensor it went to 110 degrees.

I would think it would be dangerous for it not to read the higher temps in case the heater went crazy!!

I'm talking about the "SET" temp, not the actual temp of the water. It will not display a higher "set" temp than 104. You cannot set it higher than 104. This is not the actual temp of the water, only the "set" temp., the temp you would like the spa to be...

The display will display the temp. of the water beyond 104, but you have no way to set it beyond 104.

I'm sorry if that wasn't clear in the original post :D

I have a Sweetwater with the 4 button topside control with red led display.
I have found three thermal sensors/switches. The third is the tub thermo sensor, the one that is compared with the "setpoint" for normal control of the temp in the tub. My sensor was out of calibration, ie., when the tub said water was at 100, a thermomiter showed actual temp to be only 95 degrees BURRRR! I found that by adding a 2.7 thousand ohm (2.7K 1/4W) resistor in series with the sensor, the actual temperature came up about 6 degrees, ie., 100 degrees indicated was actually 101 degrees, much better.
