I have a Hot Springs Prodigy and 2 of the buttons on the front control panel are intermitent. the clean and light + buttons need to be pressed many times to get them to work. My question is: How do I remove the front control assembly from the spa so that I can clean or replace the contacts or switches? There is very limited room in the cabinet behind the control panel asembly.

Thanks.

Depends on the year and style of control panel. Sometimes when they get 'touchy' it helps to push it in and hold it for a second or two until it comes on or goes off. If you try to push it a few times rapidly it won't work.

To take off the newer style you need to pop off the frosted cover in the top of the control panel (that protects the blueish light that always stays illuminated) and remove the two screws that are behind it. Then the panel comes out...the only adjustments are the four screws that hold the back circuit board to the face plate, or you may need to bend the pieces of plastic behind the buttons so they make better contact. Hard to explain but you will see better once you get it apart.
