I'm having troubles getting my Smart Touch Digital spa pack to work. Both spa motors won't turn on. I've tested my spa motors and they work. I checked the wiring to make sure the pumps are wired correctly. I've checked VAC coming into the spa pack and it looks good.

I measured the voltage comming out of the spa pack for the pumps. My two speed motor is getting 40-35VAC and my other motor is getting 1-2VAC. The blower gets 120VAC.

I'm at a loss on what to do next.
Thanks

These are 115 volt motors?

If so, then the first test I would make would be to connect the white common wires coming from the pump motors directly to the incoming neutral. (ie cut the white wires).

If they work, then let it go....

The motors are 230V. I tested between the motors black and incomming neutral. The voltages are all fine. So I think your plan will work. Maybe the neutral goes through a relay and that relay is bad?

Thanks!

ACC is suppossed to give me a call on this.

Well if they are 230volt motors, then the common from those plugs will have to go to L2, not neutral.

Use care and smarts.

Yes, that's what I'm thinking - the common switching relay is bad. With 115V motors, the common relay will be switching neutral. With 230's, the common relay switches L2.

That made a lot of sense, thanks!

I talked with the manufacture. Removing the cover of the L2 relay showed obvious signs of being burned. I probably messed it up at some point.
