Just finished refilling and powering up my spa. It ran well for about 30 minutes then completely shut itself sown. It's a Sundance Calypso 1994 model. Here's what I know so far. Power is good to the circuit board, all fuses have power in and out. Where to I check next? There is no power to the contol panel, the pump and heater do not turn. There is power to the input side of the pump and heater relays. Any TP's I need to check to narrow the problem down? Would rather troubleshoot than throw parts at it. Thanks, Mike

You may have already done this, but did you check the cable, both at the topside control panel, and inside the control cabinet? If that is all tight and good, then either your topside went on ya, or the main control board, or both.

Actually it finally toasted itself after I fooled with it for a while. Now the breaker won't stay set and that's with the blower, heater, pump, thermostat and light disconnected. pretty much narrows it down to the circuit board somewhere. the board has no visual defects and I also disconnected the controls. Brokedown and purchased a completely new package just waiting on it to arrive.

If you don't mind, I would like to fiddle with the fried board/controls, so if your intent is to just throw them away, let me know and I will pay to ship them here. Good luck and once you get your tub running....ENJOY! (it's so worth it)

charger,
Wish I had seen this earlier. The circuit board already left for the dump. Sorry, Mike
