Hello,
I'm hoping some one can help me. I have a Tiger Bangel spa 1999-2000 not sure came with purchase of house, anyway. Went to shut it off one night and it wouldn't shut off, so I unpluged it. Came out the next day pluged it back in and it started right back up (jets) pushed shut off button but nothing. Waited a couple of day tried it again with the same results. I thought about by passing the pump with a toggle switch but that means my heater will not work. That kinda defeats the purpose of a hot tub. Not that I don't mind a cold tub on a hot summers night, but winter will be here before we know it and it's not big enough to skate on. I'm not sure if it's a relay switch or the control box itself. The local spa co. wants a Credit card over the phone before they even show up "They must think it says sucker on my forehead". I have attached a photo of the control box as well.
Any help would be awesome!

Thank you for taking the time to reveiw my problem

Scott

Serial number will help.

First question: Check the voltage to the spa. Are you in a hot area where there are lots of A/c's running and lots of houses? I have seen Tiger Rivers do the same thing in larger neighborhoods when lots of Air conditioners are running. I have had incoming voltage readings on 110volt tubs of only 90-100 volts on some of them.

If not,

Is the topside control panel digital and if so does the jet pump 'icon' turn on and off when you try to turn the jets on/off?

If the icon is turning on/off but the jet pump is not I have found that it is probably the control box.

If the icon is staying on it is probably the control panel on top.

Good luck.

Hi Dan,

Ser# is M1A1287 and Mod# M

The topside control panel is digital and yes when I push the button the jet icon comes on & off, but jets do not turn off. Also have 110 to control panel.

Again thank you for your time.

If you have an ozone generator, disconnect the power cord and data cable (if equipped)

If the problem persists, as Dan.the.spa.man suggested, the Control Box needs replacement.

Hi Swine,

Yes I do and yes I did with the same results. I guess I have no choice but to replace the control board and I figure I might as well replace the heater at the same thing as I had a problem with it awhile ago. No I'm not made of money, but I don't want to replace one and then replace the other a month later, know what I mean.

Thank you Both for all your help!!

Scott
