I have an older model (not sure what year) Down East hat tub with a ProPac box. After refilling it, I am getting a FlO error. I tried letting the air out of the pump and taking the filter out and using the water hose on it with no changes. I turn the breaker on and get a humming sound for about 10 seconds and then I hear a click from around the motor area and then silence. When the filter cover was off, there was no water circulating in the filter. The jets and the bubbler are working fine causing me to thing it has something to do with the temperature line or the pump that runs this. Any ideas before I turn this thing into a giant planter?

Sounds like a bad motor. It is locked up, try to see if it will spin freely. Freeing it up may work, might be something stuck in the pump or you are in the market for a new motor.

I was afraid of that. What hp. motor do you think that might be? The sticker on it doesn't have the hp. on it. All it has is Advantage Electric Motors, 56 Frame, 115/230 volts, time cont, rpm 3450, Amps 14/?.
Thanks for your help.

Can you get any numbers off the impeller? What is the distance between the top to "thru bolts" 3 5/8" is actually a 48 frame motor, 4 1/8" is a 56 frame motor.
