Replace element in used hot tub due to bad element. Powered up and the gfi stayed on. now i get a PS1 error on the display which i tracked to the pressure switch on the heater assy. the cirulation pump would turn on and off but would not energize the heater (checked by volt meter). If i disconnect the pressure i get a PS2 error. I tried to bypass the switch on power up but that also gave an error but if the circulation pump starts and then i bypass the switch no errors are receive and i get heat. I started at 58 and stop my test at 70 degrees due to 2 small leaks in heater. my question is do i have a bad pressure switch, out of adj (i did try to adj but made no progress) and or something else. this was used tub, but only problem that they told me about was the heater trippng the gfi.

thanks
jason

Yeah - I'd replace the pressure switch. Sounds like the plunger is flat out stuck.
