I am taking a shot in the dark, by assuming you have a Sundance spa? I tried to duplicate that error on my Sundance with the Sentry 850 LCD model control panel, and haven't had any luck. However, most often the errors are caused by a defective or disconnected sensor, such as your flow sensor, your temp sensor, or even your spa door interlock switch. If you change your temp on your display, does the spa actually heat to that temp, or does it pretty much stay at the existing temp? Does it even display the current temperature? If the spa is actually heating, and stopping at the set temperature, I would suspect the door interlock switch. If you do have a Sundance spa, please visit the following website to see if your manual is listed: http://sundancespas.com/Help-Index.html

Good luck

Jeremy

Yes...this is a sundance spa, it's a centry 800. the Er 12 messages alternates with the temp that i set on the desplay message, but the water does not heat up, nor do the pumps work!!!
i called the manufacurer in dalas (i think) today, and they sai d that i have to either get a new board, or a new chip for the board.
I called a local sundance place, and they said that they charge $85/hour and they anywhere between $500-600 to fix the prob...that sounds pretty crazy to me, especially since when i picked up the spa (for free) it was working fine, and i got it from friends, so they didn't hide anything from me.
Does that help any?

No, that information really doesn't help at all. However if it is your circuit board, 600 bucks is dirt cheap since my board runs 999.00 at the cheapest! Does the circulation pump work? You might have to listen very closely to determine if it is or not, but see if you can find out. Typically, with Sundance, error messages are in the form of words, such as FLO, ILOC, etc. I can't find any information on a number error code.

Ok, thanks for your help Charger 1...but i got it all figured out....my electrician hooked it up all wrong...i don't know the exacts of it, but he connected only 1 hot wire, and the other hot into the ground, so not enough juice into the spa.
Now that the tub works, the only problem is that the GFI switch keeps going off, but i have an industrial duty GFI switch on order, and hopefully that'll take care of the problem.

I looked at my sentry 800 manual and did not find a thing for that code. If You do throw in the towel I could use a part or two :D . I will tell you this I sent my board in to be repaired cost me $160 and 5 weeks I think here is the link
http://www.spacare.com/index.asp?PageAc ... tom&ID=659

I did not send in the transformers because I did not know where they were
"they are behind the controll box by the way" I had 4 or 5 relays replaced
and now it works sweet. But now half of my topside contoll is out :x any how here is A pic of my board how I got it. "free"
