We recently refilled and started up our Coast Spa after it sitting idle for two months [yard renos]. It ran fine for the first 24 hours, but suddenly displayed "FLC". I followed the manufacturer's corrective action; opening bleed valve to release trapped air [there was none] and still the problem persisted.

I then tried adjusting the pressure switch as per Gecko's trouble shooting guide, again to no avail.

Am I missing something? Or do I need to replace the pressure switch?

The pump will not work automatically but operates manually just fine - strong water flow and suction.

The only other anomaly is that there are little bits of white plastic in the water - eroding jet parts. But this has happened before with no apparent ill effects. In the past I have tracked down the offending jet and replaced it.

It is a Gecko SSPA-1 Spa Pack in a Coast Spa - Purchased in October 1999.

FLC means the flow error, it is closed when the computer expects it to be open. Recheck your adjustments with an OHM meter. You will probably be needing a new switch.
