My Problem: I get the FLO error.

What is happening:  Like a bonehead, I shut off power to my perfectly functioning spa before I left town for two months and left it full of water (I was in a hurry, but that's what happens). Now, when I turn it on at the breaker, I get the FLO error. The heater works, I think. The pump tries to turn on, but makes a short "grunt". What might be the scenario for my problem? There was a nasty, sticky white residue in my water -- so maybe this worked its way into something and gummed it up? It is not the filter, as I have removed this and the problem persists. Maybe a sensor or pump. I know nothing about fixing a spa. How would I go about checking a motor or sensor? Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Not a spa tech but most spas operate on the same principal. Recently encountered a FLO warning on my sundance capri display and found a defective circulation pump motor starting capacitor. Replaced same and all works as advertised. Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Len in Baguio
