Post subject: new circ. pump shuts off after 1 minute

I have a Hot springs Bengal spa...just replaced the silent flo5000 with the newer smaller lang circ. pump...it runs for about a minute then shuts off...I can reset the power and it will run again for 1 minute...how can I fix this???? Is it a priming issue??? Many Thanks in advance for your help....Jym
