I have a 1996 Sundance. I keep getting FLO on my control board.

I have replaced the flo switch.
I have replaced the circulation pump.
I made sure the filter was clean and no air in system.

Now a little back ground on the tub.
It is a Sundance Royale 1996
It has a 800 control panel and a 850 LCD board. I belive it is wired wrong.
There are 3 connector areas on top. 1 says options 1 says sensors 1 says controls.
I have the control board on the control plug.
I am waiting for a plug for the sensors. But I have them wired in for now. However I am not sure they are right.
Starting from left to right
On top second post and on bottom first post is interlock
On forth post top and bottom is Flow sensor
On sixth post top and bottom is Hi-Limit / Freeze sensor
On seventh post top and bottom is Temp sensor
The option plug has nothing in it.
Everything appears to be working perfect except the heat will not come on unless I turn on pump two. The circulation pump does not seem to have power but all fuses are fine. I believe this to be the same for the ozone. I was able to take a meter and test all areas on the board and get power to all pumps. Is there maybe a plug missing for the option area on the board? I belive the LCD was upgraded. Since there is a 800 controller and a 850 LCD. Is there a different way to wire that?

Sam,

I have a 1998 Capri Sundance spa and recently encountered the same FLO warning on the control panel. I found the circulation pump motor starting capacitor to be defective. Replaced the capacitor and all works as advertised.

Did your circulation pump come with a new capicitor or did you use the old one?

I'll not comment on the possibility of your spa being miss wired. If it worked when you first bought it then wiring shouldn't be a factor.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
