Flow Switch Open message on display. Tried all remedies in owners manual. Naturally heater has tripped off, but pump and jets are working just fine. How would one check the flow switch to see if needed replacing? Or could the circulation pump have gone bad causing the same message. the only reason to mention that is it had gotten noisier over the past year than it had been the previous three years.

Had the same problem. On the Tango take out the filter, there is another secondary mesh filter screen that they dont tell you about. I found it by accident as it floated out.

Unless you clean that out it will still give you an error Fl1, its looks like a clear cap with a fine mesh screen ... reminds me of the dryer filter screens on the door but the size of the end of the filter... ie a bottle cap.

If you stick your finger in the inlet side towards the pump which is the flow of water... pull the cap (filter) out. Becarefull as there isnt much to grab onto. Clean it off , reinstall and put back your filter making sure there is enough water soaked in the filter to prime up the pump and you should be good to go!
