Hi
I have had my Sundance Cameo for a decade without problem. Recently I began receiving a FLO error message. First blinking then solid.
I could stop the message by turning off the power and turning it back on. As long as the jets are running the error message stays off. When the jets stop the message comes back on and my control panel locks up. The filter is clean and there are no obstructions. The pump, filter, and blowers all seem to be working fine.
I figured the first step is to replace the Flo switch. OK, doesn't seem so hard. Pulled out the old one, read the part number and order the appropriate part. The new flo switch looks very much like the old one IXCEPT that the actual contact portion of the switch is about half an inch longer than the origional. When trying to install it the switch bottoms out in the pipe before the threads can catch and screw the switch in. The switch did come with a couple of adapters but darned if I can figure out how to fit them so that the switch can be installed. A friend suggested cutting the end off the switch so that it will fit but I thought I would ask here before doing that.
Suggestions?
Thanks

Hi,
You might find that the old pressure switch works fine, but just needs some adjustment.
Try refitting the old one, and adjust it on it's thread until the problem goes.
Does your hot tub / spa have a Balboa control system?
