Hi All... newbie here so any help is appreciated. I have a Tiger Springs Spa (probably a 2000 Model) and here are the other stats:
Control Board is an IQ2000
Flow Control is a SilentFlo 5000
Push Button Activator
Running at 115V setup

The problem is this... I changed the water in the tub and forgot to turn the circuit off while draining it. Didn't think much about it but when I filled it up and came back I noticed there were no little bubbles coming up and it seems the flow has stopped. Now the heater works fine and you can heat it click in when you turn the temp up but nothign from the flow so when the temp gets too hot, the circuit board shuts off and I have to reset the breaker to get it back on.

forgot to mention that this has happened before with the old pump but I was able to reach behind and push in a reset switch. Cannot find one on this puppy and there are no fuses that I can see that might have blown. Also, I put a multimeter up to the hot and neutral and didn't get a reading of any voltage.

Any ideas....?

Sounds like you are not getting any flow from the circ pump. It may be air-bound and needs to be bled out or sometimes when they get older you need to hit them with a screwdriver one time when power is put back on.

If it is the later then it won't last much longer.

Air Bound. Sounds like a possibility as the Hot Tub did empty completely and the Circ pump may have been trying to move water through it. How do you bleed it out and why doesn't this occur when you first install it? Is there a way to force the air out?

I usually find and area after the circ pump in the 3/4" line where it is easy to pull off from a fitting. I heat it up with a heat gun, slide the clamp back, and pull it slightly off and let some water gush out (which allows the air to escape).

Well I got the water to come pouring through the Circulation Pump when I took the hose off but it still seems as if the pump is not running. In fact I am not sure that it is even getting electricity to it. As I mentioned before I took a multimeter to the contacts on the control board and there does not seem to be any voltage coming through.

Any idea what these guys run off of voltage wise? I can't imagine that the control board went bad because the water got too low?

If your heater is heating up, the tub is getting power. Both the heater and circ pump work on 120v.

Keep in mind that once the tub overheats, there will be no power to the pump until it resets.

If the heater was too hot from lack of flow from the circ pump then the sensors will pick up that problem and cut off power to the tub so the heater doesn't burn itself out. It may have been too hot for quite some time while you were trying to diagnos the problem and may need to sit for a while before cooling down.

Once everything is cooled down turn on power and check voltage to the circ pump right away. If there is voltage but no flow and the heater gets hot then the pump is shot.
