I have a Hotspring Highlife spa. The breaker flipped on it and I looked into the control box and main panel on the spa. I found that one ground had burned through the end cap. I trimmed the wire and replaced the cap. After about 6 uses of the main pump being on, the breaker went again. I found the same wire burnt again.

Any ideas on what could cause this.

You're asking for a lot with little info.

The only thing that can help you here is to post photos... several to show what you're talking about.

Poor connection where it's melting, or the copper wire is in poor shape.

Nothing in the spa is making the wire overheat and melt, it's a wiring issue.

Also, it better not be a ground...
