HELP! We bought a home with a Great Lakes Spa. Had the spa people out yesterday- sto do a startup for us- filled the spa, jets work, heater works, showed us how to work it. The circuit breaker keeps popping at 95 degrees. We know nothing about spas. What do we need to look at? Thank you.

which circuit breaker is tripping? Depending on your setup, there is an overlimit button, usually red, that will trip when you go over temp. Over time these will weaken, but are adjustable using an alan wrench (in most cases they are adjustable). Otherwise replacement would be necessary.

Our home also has a large built in whirlpool in the master bath. It is a Jacuzzi (model Quanta). Filled with water and turned on, it heats up great, then around 98 degrees the "hot water temp" relay trips causing all power to be turned off. Control box contains relays to include cold temp, hot temp and reset relay.

Mood is ruined because you must wait until water temp is lower to reset...even worse...reset is located outside around the corner of the house. This is not good as no neighbor wishes to see anyone butt naked trying to reset a switch.

Should I replace both temp switches and should I relocate the reset switch. If yes...where do I buy these switches (internet)?
