The 220 line runs from the main house fuse panel to a spa panel outside near the tub. The main breaker inside the house has never tripped, the one outside near the tub tripped several times during the first rain storm since installing the tub. Between the spa panel and tub there is a small junction box which sits on the side of the concrete patio, in a generally damp area. After the first storm, I let the area dry out and shut the power off. I sealed the junction box lid with silicone. The next time it rained, the breaker tripped only once and it was a whole day of rain. I am not sure what else to look for. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I had the same thing happen, looked to be sealed fine. I then built a little roof to go over the spa panel on my fence and it hasn't tripped since.

When I said roof I meant a birdhouse size roof.
