Have been searching past posts... helpful but still need help. 2 problems:

1- When I turn on the heater, it trips the GFI (light says Hi-Limit) Acts like the water in the heater gets too hot but I disconnected the line to make sure the pump was pulling water. Pump makes a bit of noise sometimes but is pulling water thru. I have read that it may be the pump or the HI LIMIT... don't know what HI LIMIT is.

2- When the heater is on (I get about 15 sec before it blows), the air blower and circulator must both be off. As soon as I turn one of them on, the heater shuts off. I remember last year thinking that the water temp seemed to drop whenever I turned on the circulation... now I see that the heater is shutting off. Why in the world would this happen?

The tub is an old Leisure Bay. I have 220 running it. When I first moved in, it needed a heater pump so I replaced it. Seemed to work for a while. Last year started giving me problems... heater not working while circ/air turned on... then it started tripping the HI LIMIT. Would like to start using it again.
Any ideas? Thanks everybody
